The house that garbage built in York Region – rental mayhem 101

by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Apr 18, 2012 | Durham, Markham, Pickering, Richmond Hill, Vaughan

What comment can I offer on the lack of care for rental homes in York Region? What’s sad is home owners who buy rental properties, in fairly nice neighbourhoods, are turning them into rental ghettos. It’s said to see how individuals can come into a area...

by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Sep 16, 2008 | Ajax, Food, GTA Food, Multiculturalism, Ontario, Pickering, Toronto

I do not normally comment on food, however today I will make an exception. I just had some of the best sushi I have EVER tasted. If you are a fan of sushi / Japanese food you will not be disappointed. It is located at 50 Kingston Road East in Ajax (beside...

The Eglinton Crosstown and Mayor Olivia Chow

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she’s “speechless” about the continued delayed of the Eglinton Crosstown, saying she’s no more knowledgeable on the project than residents and business owners who’ve been waiting years for it to wrap up.

“I don’t know what to say anymore, it’s leaving me speechless,”  said Chow.
