by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Apr 4, 2008 | Canada, World

Tom Lukiwski rocks back and forth in the camera frame while pontificating about the differences between alpha and beta males. The camera operator fiddles with the zoom a bit to frame up the future Member of Parliament’s face. Lukiwski looks for the red light to...

What does this election mean for Toronto and David Miller and taxes?

by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Oct 11, 2007 | GTA Politics

I am sure that David Miller, and all of the city councilors, were watching the election closely. Essentially, Torontonians have decided to put Dalton McGuinty back in power, but voting overwhelmly for Liberals in various ridings. An interesting note is that NDP voters...

The 50% factor – Only half of Ontario’s voters bothered to even vote!

by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Oct 10, 2007 | GTA Issues, GTA Politics

The Green Party seemed to bleed votes from the NDP and the Progressive Conservatives tonight, not the Liberals. Provincial and Federal parties across the county will take note. Voters seem to be hearing the “green mantra”. However, unfortunately this did not translate...

The Eglinton Crosstown and Mayor Olivia Chow

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she’s “speechless” about the continued delayed of the Eglinton Crosstown, saying she’s no more knowledgeable on the project than residents and business owners who’ve been waiting years for it to wrap up.

“I don’t know what to say anymore, it’s leaving me speechless,”  said Chow.
