Toronto commuters are facing a bumpy ride on Spadina Avenue. The TTC’s temporary replacement of streetcars with buses for infrastructure upgrades has resulted in major traffic congestion. Viral social media posts show long lines of stalled buses, adding to the frustration of many riders.
Just wonderful. A city that is NOT serious about congestion, these buses may as well not exist. This is crazy. Where is the temp bus lane? pic.twitter.com/OU2vb59wX0

While the TTC aims to improve Spadina’s transit system in the long run, some commuters are wondering why Toronto didn’t consider more efficient tram designs used in cities like Helsinki. Alright, its not perfect, but I love the relaxing ride.
For now, Torontonians will have to navigate the delays until the construction is complete.
To relieve some stress, take a look at this Tram in Helsinki (ASMR).
