by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | Jun 1, 2008 | Canada, GTA Issues, GTA Politics, Ontario, Toronto

Dalton McGuinty’s increasing centralization of power

by thegtapatriot@yahoo.ca | May 21, 2008 | Canada, GTA Politics, Ontario, Toronto

Premier Dalton McGuinty insists he is not rattled by apparent dissension in his Liberal ranks. In a move that even loyalists now concede was ill-advised, McGuinty ordered all staff members to leave the Liberal caucus room on May 13 then criticized MPPs for speaking...

The Eglinton Crosstown and Mayor Olivia Chow

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said she’s “speechless” about the continued delayed of the Eglinton Crosstown, saying she’s no more knowledgeable on the project than residents and business owners who’ve been waiting years for it to wrap up.

“I don’t know what to say anymore, it’s leaving me speechless,”  said Chow.
