Here’s a breakdown of the free services and extended schedules across the GTA:


TTC – Free Rides on New Year’s Eve

πŸ•– Free from 7 p.m. on December 31 to 8 a.m. on January 1
Courtesy of J.P. Wiser’s, the TTC will offer free travel across its entire system. Subway service will run until 3 a.m., and the Blue Night Network of buses and streetcars will operate all night long.

GO Transit – Ride Free on New Year’s Eve

GO Transit is offering free travel across its trains and buses, with additional trips added and adjusted for the night to ensure safe and convenient travel.

Don’t forget to tap your PRESTO, debit, or credit card as you boardβ€”your ride will still be free, but tapping helps GO plan better services for you in the future.

York Region Transit (YRT) – Ride Free and Safe

York Region Transit is offering free service with extended late-night service to ensure you get home safely after your celebrations.
