When it came time for a phone upgrade, I explored all the options. From the Samsung A25 and OnePlus Nord to even considering a low-end Google Pixel, I wanted something that balanced cost and quality. Despite my initial hesitation, I even looked at Motorola devices. In the end, I chose a refurbished Samsung S21 5G. It simply made sense—it does exactly what I need without the excess.
To complement the phone, I picked up the Samsers Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard with a touchpad. Portable, slim, and perfect for writing, it fits right into my toolkit. I considered a more expensive option like the Dopesplay Portable Monitor, which has a built-in keyboard and works with Samsung DeX, but it felt unnecessary. My HP Elitebook running Linux Mint still does the heavy lifting when needed.
